Pretty sure they weren't that way when we last drove into town at the beginning of the week.
My guess is that they were replacing rotten wooden window frames -- but perhaps they were repairing vandalism?

I used to work at The Old Court House in the 1960's when it was Risdon Hosegood and Morle, later changed to Risdon Tarr and Morle. Arthur Tarr was the auctioneer/valuer. The other half of the building was The National Provincial Bank. Mum and Dad ran the grocery shop at 3 North Street.
